Install and use the mobile app
The same workspace on a phone, for the people who are not at a desk. Included on every plan — and worth installing for one reason.
The mobile app is included on every plan from Starter upwards. It is worth installing for one reason: notifications. Without them it is a smaller browser, and nobody uses a smaller browser.
This matters more here than in most products because of how work arrives. An agent sees only what is assigned to them, so work does not appear in a shared queue they might glance at — it appears when somebody or something assigns it. If they are not notified, they have to poll, and people do not poll reliably.
Before you start
- An existing Convarza AI login.
Steps
Install it from your phone's app store
Search for Convarza AI. It is on every plan and is not a paid add-on.
Sign in with the same account
Your role travels with you. An agent sees their own assigned chats, their own calling list and their own tasks, as on the web — including not seeing Workflows.
Turn on notifications, and check they arrive
Grant the permission, then have a colleague assign you a conversation and confirm it lands. Both iOS and Android will quietly suppress notifications for an app that was denied once.
Task reminders come through here too, which is what makes a callback promised on a call happen.
Use it for replies, outcomes and reminders
Answering a chat, logging a call outcome and checking a contact all work well on a phone. This is most of an agent's day.
Do the building on a laptop
Writing a bot prompt, building a call flow, editing your contact schema or designing a dashboard are all possible and all miserable on a phone. Save them for a desk.
Check it worked
Have somebody assign you a conversation while your phone is locked. If the notification arrives and opens the right thread, the app is doing the job you installed it for.
The parts people get wrong
- If a colleague is not receiving notifications, check that the conversation was actually assigned to them. Unassigned bot traffic is invisible to agents by design, so there is nothing to notify them about.
- A manager on mobile still sees everything, which makes the app a reasonable way to keep an eye on the unassigned queue out of hours.
