Book a meeting from a conversation
Put a slot in the calendar without leaving the thread, using availability that reflects your calendar.
The meeting composer sits alongside comment and task at the top of the activity feed, and it draws on your connected calendar — so it cannot offer a slot you do not have.
There is a decision hiding in here worth making consciously: book it yourself, or send a booking link. Booking it yourself is faster when you already know the time. Sending the link is better the moment there is any back-and-forth, because the alternative is four messages and a mistake.

Before you start
- A connected Google or Microsoft calendar, so availability is real.
Steps
Use the meeting composer at the top of the feed
Alongside the comment and task composers, at the top of the activity feed. Nothing opens in a modal, so you do not lose sight of the conversation while you book.
Availability comes from your connected calendar, so what you are offered here is what you are free for.
Pick a time you are free
Availability comes from your connected calendar. If nothing sensible is offered, your calendar is probably not connected — that is a settings problem, not a composer one.
Say the time back in the conversation
The customer is right there. Confirming in the thread — "Thursday 3pm, I've sent an invite" — is worth more than assuming the invite speaks for itself.
Let the meeting land on the timeline
It appears on the contact's activity feed with everything else, so the next person can see a meeting was arranged and when.
Send a booking link instead when times are hard
The moment you are going back and forth on times, stop and send the link. That is what it exists for, and it respects both calendars.
Check it worked
Check your own calendar. The meeting should be there at the right time and duration, and the contact's feed should show it too.
The parts people get wrong
- If no availability appears, connect a calendar first. Connecting always routes to one place in settings — there is never a second connect flow.
- An AI voice agent can book into the same availability mid-call, so anything wrong with your calendar shows up on calls too.
