Connect a Microsoft calendar

The same place, the same filtering, the same result. Microsoft and Google sit alongside your Convarza calendar.

Microsoft connects through the same settings page as Google, with the same sub-calendar filtering and the same result. You can hold both at once, alongside your Convarza calendar — useful if you carry a personal Google account and a work Microsoft one.

The one thing that differs in practice is organisational policy. Many Microsoft 365 tenants restrict third-party calendar access, and if authorisation fails that is almost always the cause rather than anything about the connection.

The header states how many calendars you are showing out of how many you have connected.

Before you start

  • A Microsoft account with the calendar you keep.
  • Third-party app access permitted by your organisation, if you are on a managed tenant.

Steps

Go to calendar settings

The same single place as Google. There is never a second connect flow, whichever provider you use and wherever you started from.

That matters because a booking link, the meeting composer and an AI agent all read the same connected calendars. One place to connect means one place to fix when availability looks wrong.

Authorise Microsoft

Sign in and grant access. A source is an account, and an account usually holds several sub-calendars.

If authorisation is refused, that is almost always an organisational policy on third-party app access rather than anything about the connection. Your IT administrator can permit it.

Pick the sub-calendars that count

The same popover, with search, per-account all or none, and a colour per calendar.

Watch out for shared and room calendars

Microsoft tenants tend to attach a lot of these. They rarely tell you anything about your own availability and they make week view unreadable.

Connect more than one account if you need to

Sources are accounts. Google and Microsoft can both be connected, and both count towards your availability.

Verify against a known week

Especially important here, because a tenant may be syncing calendars you did not expect to see.

Check it worked

Compare your Convarza week view against Outlook side by side for one week. If anything is missing or extra, fix the sub-calendar selection before you publish a booking link.

Worth knowing

The parts people get wrong

  • If authorisation fails, that is usually an IT policy rather than a Convarza problem. Your administrator can permit the app.
  • Meetings you have declined may still sit in your calendar. Whether those block a booking depends on your conflict rule.
